I am a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Delaware (UD). I joined the faculty at UD in 2005. Before that, I received my BS with honor from Caltech in 2000 and my Ph.D. in 2005 from MIT in EECS.
My research covers a range of areas in computer vision including sensors and early vision, computational photography, image-based modeling and rendering, illumination and reflectance, stereo matching, shape-from-X, saliency and segmentation, motion tracking, and medical image analysis. My research has been supported by the NSF, NIH, and DoD. I am a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award in 2009, the Air Force Young Investigator Award in 2010, and the UD College of Engineering Outstanding Junior Faculty Award in 2013. (Curriculum Vitae)
