ECE 5/411 CMOS Analog IC Design: Assignments and Projects information for Spring 2013

Homework Assignments

·        Turn in your neatly done homework in class or email your homework PDFs to the TA.

·        Additional problems from the book website require 1um and 50n CMOS models. These models are at following file location on the AMS servers:

/home/pdks/Cadence_IC61_CMOSedu/models/cmosedu_models.txt

·        Few HW problems and the course project specifically require 180n CMOS models. These models are located at:

/home/pdks/Cadence_IC61_CMOSedu/models/tsmc018.scs

·        See 180n CMOS simulation setup information slides

Reading Assignments

It is recommended that the students:

(i)                  Keep up with the textbook(s) reading assignments in parallel to the lectures,

(ii)                Diligently go through the example simulations in the textbook, and

(iii)               Solve back of the chapter and extra problems on their own.
