Mac OS X RADIUS CLIENT CONFIGURATION
Setting up a Mac OS X client get access to the network:
- Click on the wireless icon.
- Select Open Internet Connect.
- Click on File, then New 802.1X Connection, which enables another tab for 802.1X connections. Enter your Unix username/password and the Wireless Network you want to connect to (“acad” is the Wireless Network to use)
- Check off everything other than TTLS.
- Click on TTLS and click on Configure
- Select PAP as TTLS Inner Authentication:
- Click OK then OK again. Try to connect.
- During authentication you will likely be prompted to accept the certificate for the server. Click on Accept All.
- Open Firefox or Safari and see if you can access the internet. Use the Help Request System if you have trouble.
