Hi, I am Sara Sprenkle.

You found my web page, so here's a little about me and what I do.

This is a picture of me at the last party of my Extreme Blue internship.

I am a graduate student at the University of Delaware, pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

I finished my master's at Duke University in January 2004.

I graduated from Gettysburg College in May 1999. (Hey, wasn't there a war there or somethin'?)

I was born on October 18, 1977, which you probably recognize as the day that Reggie Jackson hit three homeruns in the World Series. I'm from Dallastown, PA, where my parents Dale and Debbie Sprenkle still live. My younger sister Jessie, who graduated summa cum laude from Gettysburg College in May 2002, is now living in Germany. Don't let her range of accents fool you. She really is a native of D-town.

You may not have heard of Dallastown; Dallastown is in Southern York County. You may not have heard of York either, but I bet you have heard of Their song "Shittowne" is about my hometown, but I don't think York is that bad.

My family is really close, although we rarely admit it, so I have a page especially about us.

Everyone who knows me also knows how much I admire my father, partially because he creates things like the game, Rainbow Dice. I'm not the only one who has a very high opinion of him. His friends from the Dickie Thon Fan Club gave him one of the weakest roasts that I've ever seen, but it sure is nice.

My parents met at York Graphic Services, now part of TechBooks, where Mom still works. Dad now has his own company and develops Xtensions for QuarkXPress, like XMath that is used for typesetting math books.

Feel free to browse around my many pages (like I could stop you...) I warn you that my priorities have changed, and some of these pages are out-of-date (and some I accidentally deleted and haven't replaced.) Enjoy!
