- Built the first Linux Cluster (Biomed Engine) of Medical University of South Carolina
- The cluster consists of HP ProLiant DL380 G3 server and HP StorageWorks 4400 with 1TB storage as front-end node, and HP BladeCenter Dual Intel Xeon servers as compute nodes. PowerVault 122T tape drive in robotic library with ArcServe NetBackup is used for backup
- Cluster Suite: Rocks 4.1, Ganglia, MPI, PVM, Sun Grid Engine, PBS, Globus Toolkit, mpiBLAST, MatlabMPI etc
- Developed a parallel Bayesian probabilistic component analysis algorithm for fMRI deception data analysis
- Developed web front-ends for doing OMSSA MS/MS search and parallel mpiBLAST search on our BioMed Engine Linux cluster
