About
Xiaolong Wang is working as a Research Scientist and Manager in Samsung Research America (SRA). He has completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the dept. of CIS at the University of Delaware (UDEL). He received his M.S. degree in West Virginia University (WVU) in 2012. He worked at the VIMS Lab at University of Delaware under the supervision of Prof. Chandra kambhamettu since 2012. He also works closely with Dr. Hagit Shatkay, Dr. Michele Merler and Dr. Noel C. Codella . His research interests include: Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Biometrics, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Social Media and Signal Processing.
