sections 1, 2, 3, and 7
Questions:
Answers due May 8.
1.Explain why quantum computers need to be reversible. Why is it that
classical computers are not reversible?
2.The Toffoli gate was discussed in class as being a universal quantum
gate. Is this the only example of such a gate?
3.Explain the implications of precision in terms of the power of a
quantum computer.
4.Imagine a 5 qubit register in an equal superposition of all possible
values. Write the state of the register.
5.What happens when we take a measurement of the above register? Write
a possible state after measurement.
