Scheme on the Composers at UDel, Spring, 1997
The
Scheme repository
contains a listing of scheme implementations and other scheme stuff.
Several Scheme versions are available on the composers currently (5/97).

Scm is an implementation by Aubrey Jaffer,
is distributed with gnu, and has been used for most of the semester
in CISC 280. It is a complete, R4RS compliant implementation with
a useful trace system which helps in debugging.

Elk-scheme is an implementation designed for easy
dynamic foreign function linking. It has been used in 280 for
implementating the painter system.

Kawa is a Java based implementation by Per Bothner.
It has thread support, but apparently not in a way useful for
concurrent computation.

To use Kawa you need java access. To use Java, setup following Dr. Caviness'
instructions in his
local set-up for Java
.
