CISC 280 Program Development Techniques
In-lab submission of topping-off exercises

A topping-off exercise can be submitted only during your lab. When you have finished an exercise, submit it by email to

  saunders@udel.edu

By return email you will get a message containing either the word Pass or the phrase buggy submission. If your solution passes, move on to any additional exercises in the current module or begin on the homework for the next module. If you get the buggy submission message, then either your solution failed the evaluation or the submission was not formatted corectly. We are setting up semi-automatic processing of topping-off submissions, so it is essential to follow these instructions exactly:

In the subject field of your message write your name followed by "exclaims" (think "exercise claims"), then the exact name of the exercise. For instance, "topperA1" names the first topping-off exercise of module A. Example:

  Subject: Alyssa Hacker exclaims topperA1
```
Remark: Don't use the word "exclaim" in the subject line of other email to saunders as it would invoke the topper handling routine!
In the text body of your message include just the definitions portion of your DrScheme session. You must put this in the main body of the message, NOT as an attachment. You may use the cut and paste mechanism for this or, from the file menu of DrScheme, save the definitions to a file and read that file into the message (again, not an attachment!). For instance, in Pine the ^R feature for reading in a file can be used.
Please use the same email address for all submissions in the course.
The response will be by email reply to sender. Be patient. It may take a few minutes.
