Before joining graduate school I worked as a softawre engineer for 2 years in a Global IT company, Tata Consultancy Services in India . My research focuses on exploiting ‘big-data’ in healthcare to provide personalized medical care to patients. Although my research work is primarily on healthcare domain, my interest in applications has grown beyond. In general, I am interested in working on projects where I can apply machine learning to solve real world problems and have an impact on the society.
