Things are looking good on albert. NTP building succeeds.

I have performed tests using memtest86 that confirm that one of albert's SIMMs is bad. I have removed the offending ram, which has reduced albert from 128 to 64 MB. This should solve all the crashing problems we've been having, I hope. It does not fix albert's problems talking to boombah.

windl has been added to maccarony. He'll need to see me to get his password.
Big changes have been afoot on the web. www.ntp.org is now XHTML and php-powered.
Running a session of memtest86 on albert today. It's finding scores of ram faults. Albert will need new ram before it can be reliable again.

Harlan clobbered /usa/majordomo/lists/{hackers.posters,webdudes.posters} yesterday while editing them. I have submitted an undelete request.
I did extensive editing of maccarony's httpd.conf file. you can now go to http://ntp.org/ and it silently redirects to http://www.ntp.org/ without giving you the lousy "This is the test page, go here!" page. Also, http://maccarony.ntp.org/ will point you at the test site now.

The tcp_time_wait_interval on maccarony has been set from 240000 to 60000:
ntp.org is hosted on maccarony now. We should be off huey. We're still working on hooking up cvs and the like.

Note to all unwary travelers: Maccarony's apache is jailed in /usa/www. This means that it won't work properly unless you, essentially start it up with /etc/init.d/httpd. Don't just use apachectl to fire it up, because you'll unjail it and that's not good.

maccarony has been upgraded to an ultra-1.
pogo:/pogo/cvs has been duplicated to maccarony:/cvs. We're working on user/group permissions for it.
groups "webdudes" and "dlmgroup" have been added to /etc/group on maccarony, in addition to adding conner to "root" and "ntp".

conner and kostecke added to maccarony's majordomo group by stenn.
