It's Steve Crocker, not Steve Corckett.

His brother Dave, author of RFCs himself, and I crossed paths at the U. of Delaware.  Coming from UC Irvine with Dave Farber, Dave Crocker had the first Honda car [vs. motorcycle] we'd ever heard of.  I recall him being astonished to drive down a road with fields of cows on both sides at once, and being concerned that his car might not make it up the hills when we got snow.  [The hills in Delaware aren't very big at all.]
