TPIS MiniRam (383cid) intake vs Holley StealthRam (383cid)
This test compares my 383cid motor with a TPIS
MiniRam intake, with a Holley
StealthRam (HSR)
The current engine is a budget build 383 short block, with my old
top-end. (AFR190 heads, LT4 HOT cam, and SLP 1-3/4" SS
headers). The Vigilante has been reflashed to a 3200 stall after
being rebuilt with a Kevlar 5-disc lockup clutch.

Excuses:
- The 383 MiniRam tuning was very rich for road-racing. 11.8:1 ->
12.2:1 AFRs. The HSR tune was exhibiting an ECM bug that sent the AFR real
rich above 5500rpm. 13.1:1 -> 11.-11.0:1.
- The MiniRam is ported for 1205 sized intake ports, but the AFR190
heads have 1204 sized intake ports. This mismatch results in a
"wall" that the air hits and causes turbulence before entering the head.

*The MiniRam run had a road-racing chip with a 95mph forced TCC lock.
This should have caused the ET to drop and the MPH to increase.* The HSR run
scan showed a very lean tune, (14.0:1) which would give more power, but would
normally be dangerous to run.
