For safety reasons (I shuttle kids around, I won't need it under NHRA rules.. 8-) I wanted to install a DSL. I had a Lakewood (custom camaro bolt-on) on order for 6 months. They claimed that since MrGasket bought out Lakewood, the DSLs were lost in bureaucracy. Anyway, thru some web searching I found a custom camaro DSL at http://www.performancesuspension.com/hpmdriveshaft.html

I held out for a bolt-on over a weld-on because of my (mis-informed) assumption that a bolt-on actually "bolts on" to existing holes or bolts on your car. I only found out after getting it that you still have to drill holes thru your car floor to bolt it on... As much or more destructive as a weld-on!!
