Who are we?

CISTERS is a group of undergraduate, graduate, and faculty women in technology-driven fields at the University of Delaware.

Since there's not that many of us, we thought it'd be a good idea to keep in touch and stick together. Our goal is to promote women in technology @ UD and have fun!

Contrary to our name, we are not exclusive to CIS, IS, or MIS majors -- CISTERS is open to all undergraduate, graduate, and faculty in technology driven fields.

Achievements

• CISters presented a poster at the CS research day. Fall 2009
• CISters organized review sessions for 4 undergrad intro courses, 106, 108, 181, and 220. Spring 2008
• CISters organized exam review sessions for 3 undergrad intro courses, 106, 108, and 181. Fall 2008
• Large group attendance and participation at The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2006
• Hosted career and course planning events
