The directory Lecture notes - for each lecture the lecture notes will include links to the slides and other materials for that class. These documents will be made available as they are completed. Here are the links to the first slide for each day.

Source code for examples used in lectures. The html files found in this directory were generated by javadoc. The images subdirectory consists of image files used by the javadoc html files. The subdirectory figures-ver2 is just a link to the subdirectory sg for the package of simple graphics that was discussed in lecure 2.
Solutions to lab exercises will be posted.

There are many online sources of information about Java.

Here is a master list of web resources. If you find others that you particularly like and are not on this list, let me know and I will add them. Here is another list of web resources that is nice.
The new Java Development Kit 1.1 (JDK1.1)
- The JavaSoft (JavaSoft is the operating company of Sun that develops the JDK) web page of technology related to JDK.
- For compatibility details between JDK 1.0 and JDK 1.1.
- Known bugs in JDK 1.1.
