The graphic shows a decreasing trend in the percentage of drug spending increases from 2001 to 2002 over the age groups from 0-19 years old to over 80 years old. 
The percentage of drug spending increases from 2001 to 2002 of the age group 0-19 years old is nearly 8 times higher than that of the age group over 80 years old. 
Except for a small rise in the age group 35-49 years old, moderate decreases are observed almost for every age group.
