My name is Boyu Zhang.
I am currently a PhD candidate mentored by
Dr. Michela Taufer
in the Global Computing Lab at the University of Delaware (UD).
I earned my M. S. in Computer and Information Sciences
Before I came to UD, I spent a year it the Computer Science
Department of the University of Texas at San Antonio.
I obtained my B. E. in Computer Science and Technology
from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,
My research is in High Performance Computing (HPC) and
focuses on big data analytics (i.e., classification and clustering),
scientific applications (i.e., RNA secondary structures classification,
protein-ligand docking, and protein-folding), and the MapReduce paradigm
with its several frameworks (i.e., Hadoop, MapReduce-MPI, and DataMPI).
