I am a graduate student in the Department of ECE at the University of Delaware. My research interests include signal processing, information theory, machine learning and their applications. Currently, I am working with Professor Javier Garcia-Frias on the topic of "Exploiting Prior Knowledge in Compressed Sensing".

Prior to joining the University of Delaware, I received both of my B.E. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. I won the Best Master Thesis Award in Tsinghua University in 2007 with my master thesis "Shot Boundary Detection Based on Motion Vector Reliability Analysis for Soccer Video" under the guidance of Professor Xinggang Lin.
