Current Project

I am working on an inter-university (University of Delaware & The George Washington University) project that is focusing on speeding up cardiac models using GPUs. In this project, I am fortunate to work with Lifan Xu (CIS Department of UD), Professor Cavazos (CIS Department of UD), Professor Huang (ECE Department of GWU) and Professor Kay (ECE Department of GWU).

Past Project

I worked on a collaborative project between University of Delaware and JP Morgan Chase company: Data Analytics on SQL Queries. I implemented an alogrithm to efficiently calculate the similarities between 50 thousand trees representing 50 thousand SQL statements. New knowledge/information was disvovered from the resulting similarities. In this project, I worked with Professor John Cavazos (CIS Dpartment of UD), Professor Stephan Bohacek (ECE Department of UD), and Fang Liu (ECE Department of UD).

As an "intern" at The George Washington University, I implemented and evaluated the Sampling Algorithm for Aggregation Queries on File Systems of various sizes (directories and files included), one of which contained one BILLION inodes. I feel very fortunate and honored to have worked with Professor Huang (ECE Department of GWU), Professor Zhang (CS Department of GWU), Professor Das (CSE Department of UTA), and Professor Szalay (Astronomy & CS Department of JHU).
