Common Lab Email Mistakes
- Subject line
Many people forget the word "Submit" or other words. Be very careful about spacing and spelling.
- Email address
A few people are sending emails to trnka@udel.edu . That is incorrect.
- Procedure naming
Be sure to get your procedure names exactly the same as the asssignment.
The automatic testing system won't guess what you've named your procedures
and you will get a response like "reference to undefined identifier"
- Long lines
Email programs enter a newline after approximately 80 characters. The means that if you have comments that are over 80 characters in length, they will be split into multiple lines and only the first one will contain THE REQUIRED SEMICOLON.
