In your home directory on porsche, create a .rhosts file that includes all of
the DEC Alphas as shown below, except replace username by your login name.
The .rhosts file provides the ``remote
authentication'' database for remote operations such as rlogin and rsh.
The file specifies remote hosts and users that
are considered trusted. Trusted users are allowed to access
the local system without supplying a password.
This file will be automatically executed for you when needed during the
execution of your parallel program on the cluster.
You can copy and edit the file from ~
pollock/public/sample.rhost
on porsche.
