Kevin Kreiser
I am originally from Lickdale Pennsylvania. I attended Millersville University in Lancaster. There I received my B.S. in Computer Science and my B.A. in German. I've also studied at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and the Goethe-Institut Düsseldorf. Presently I’m a Ph.D. student at the University of Delaware in Newark.

My areas of interest and experience include Graphics and Simulation as well as Natural Language Processing and Distributed or Volunteer Computing. Currently I'm working on a project which envisions Volunteer Computing as an interactive process, in which volunteers not only donate their computational resources, but also their intellectual ones. I’ve also done some work on alternative means of facilitating human-computer interaction which I plan to encorporate into this work.

Another application I developed uses the GPU to depixelate projected videos in real-time. In addition I've developed several other NLP related applications aimed at solving sub-problems of machine translation.

Outside of academics I’m actively involved in a project/band called BlueShift. I also enjoy snowboarding and foreign films.
