3. Problem 6.1 in chapter 6, p. 311 of Muller & Kamins, 2^nd edition (p.321 in 3^rd edition).

4. Short base carrier distribution. Starting with the exact solution for the hole distribution in the neutral base region, use appropriate simplifications to derive the straight-line approximation.
