1. Using the depletion approximation, calculate the pinch off voltage Vp of a uniformly step doped n-channel JFET with top to bottom symmetry, similar to that described in the lecture.
2. Problem 6.17 in chapter 6, p. 313 of Muller & Kamins, 2nd edition (p.323 in 3rd edition).
3. Problem 7.1 in chapter 7, p. 371 of Muller & Kamins, 2nd edition (p.375 in 3rd edition). (Hint: start with Eqn. 6.1.12 for diffusion)
4. Problem 7.23 (part a only, in the steady state) in chapter 7, p. 375 of Muller & Kamins, 2nd edition (p.377 in 3rd edition).
5. Problem 8.2 in chapter 8, p. 419 of Muller & Kamins, 2nd edition (p.422 in 3rd edition).
