1. From the Department Office, or the web (http://www.udel.edu/OHS/hazmatman97.html), obtain a personal copy of the booklet: "Hazardous Materials Safety Manual," U of D Occupational Health & Safety, and sign the form (handed out) stating that you read and understood it (return the signed form 15 Feb.).

2. Prepare for a quiz on Lab Safety to be given sometime during the week of 18 February.

3. Practice using the L-Edit graphics editor layout software. Draw and submit a set of objects as in Figure 1.5, of the L-Edit text, page 1-13. See Graphics Layout Editors Site website for printing hints.
