Device Principles – Spring 2004
Final Exam Part II - due noon, Tuesday, 24 May 2004.
1. Course Project:
Design, draw, analyze and explain
your own idea for a novel electronic device. Submit a single page
(only) giving a title, one paragraph description of what your device is
supposed to do, a figure showing the expected IV characteristics, and a
few equations describing the operating mechanism, using the technical approaches
used in the course. Grading criteria will be based on originality and the
soundness of analysis. Do not limit your ideas by present fabrication techniques.
Note: The analysis and figures must be your own work. No plots,
text, description or comparison of any kind from the technical literature
or the web is permitted.
