1. Obtain a Department email account, if you do not already have one and send me your email address.

2. Problem 1.1 in chapter 1, p. 45 of Muller & Kamins.

3. Problem 1.2 in chapter 1, p. 45 of Muller & Kamins.

4. Problem 1.3 in chapter 1, p. 45 of Muller & Kamins. (Hints: First solve parts (c) and (d), which are easier.  A tables of Dopant energies is on page 54. Attempt parts a and b using the approximation that n is half of ND when EF = ED, and obtain an iterative equation for T versus a fraction expression in  lnT, which is a weak function of T.)
