1. From the Department Office, obtain a personal copy of the booklet: "Hazardous Materials Safety Manual," U of D Occupational Health & Safety, and be prepared to sign a form stating that you read and understood it (form due 16 Feb.).

2. Prepare for a quiz on Lab Safety to be given on Monday, 19 February.

3. Practice using the L-Edit graphics editor layout software. Draw and submit a set of objects as in Figure 1.5, of the L-Edit text, page 1-13. See Graphics Layout Editors Site website for printing hints.

4. Homework assignments will appear on the web at:   http://www.ece.udel.edu/~kolodzey/.
