Welcome to my homepage
I am a post-doctoral researcher in the
Center for
Carbon-free Power Integration
at
the University of
Delaware.
My primary research concentration is in
Multiagent Systems, more
specifically, I am applying multiagent systems to the problem
integrating a group of Plug-in Electric Drive Vehicles (EDVs)
into the electricity grid - a concept known a Vehicle-to-Grid
power or V2G power. For a synopsis of this research, see
this link.
My Ph.D. thesis was on
the organization on multiagent
systems. I was interested in (1) how the agents can use
Organizational Self-Design (OSD) to generate organizational
structures for themselves that are suited to the underlying
task structure and environmental conditions at hand and (2)
how the generated organizational structures can be evaluated
according to different criteria, such as the coordination
cost and robustness.
I have also been involved with the
Network
Time Protocol (NTP) project and a number of other
research projects in Bioinformatics and Natural Language
Processing. For more information on my current and previous
research, check out my research
page.
In my spare time, I like to read, hike,
camp, play frisbee and racquet ball, and hang out with
friends.
