These are photos of various stages of the Monarch life cycle, all taken in my yard. Some of the plants are in gardens, others in pots. A few of the pictures show the thick leaves of Asclepias syriaca, but most show Asclepias incarnata, Swamp milkweed, which doesn’t need as much water as the name implies.
