Project Notebook Rules and Comments 1. A 3-ring binder (thin) is required to hold your documentation. 2. Use tab sheets to separate sections. 3. Use of shareware will result in a grade of zero. It's OK to brainstorm with each other and to discuss problems and solutions. It is NOT acceptable to copy and submit as your own the work of others. Owners of software must not leave their source code in public access areas. If you do, you risk a grade of zero if it is pirated. Notebook Sections (100 pts) 1. Introduction 10pts - Prose describing intended use and basic operation of project. Use block diagram to aid your description. Write the introduction as if you had a product to sell. Keep it short and to the point. 15pts - High level block diagram of project. 2. State/Flow Diagrams 15pts - Details of states and transistions for each functional unit. Or, flow diagram describing code execution. 3. Source Code 20pts - Listing of each procedure 5pts - Link parameter file 5pts - Link map Submit up-to-date map and prm files with your source code. A map file that is inconsistent with your source file will result in a significant loss of points for this section. 4. Circuit Diagrams 20pts - Schematics showing complete connectivity and components used in your project. 5pts - Placement diagram showing where each component is located on the breadboard. 5.
