  She was lovely to look at and lively, but she resisted my blandishments.
Her weakness, however, was that she was too intelligent to resist a puzzle.

  "Will you," I asked, "answer three questions truthfully with yes or no
answers?"
  "Yes," she said. "That's one." (I told you she was clever.)
  "My second question," I said, "is this: if my third question is 'will you
come out to dinner tomorrow,' will your answer to that be the same as your
answer to this question?"

  Ah. Even the food was good....
