Let me first say that I am a regular person, not a business. this is the ONLY thing I sell. Yes I make a few dollars each on these and it helps me buy go-fast parts. Thanks for helping!
When installing a T56 6-speed transmission into a 3rd generation
Camaro, you'll find when you're finished that theres
just something missing. The old shift pattern on the console will get
you in trouble with whoever you loan the car to because they'll never be
able to figger out how to get the dang thing into REVERSE!
I had this problem once (Hi Tim!). It took a few months and a couple revisions but here is a picture of a plate you can put over the 5-speed plate to make it look fairly factory-ish (many will say this looks exactly perfectly factory but you can decide looking at the pictures).

I took some time (um, alot) to make the numbers look as close to the Third-Generation
Camaro shifter plate as I could. The 4th generation plate is a different size
and has a different H on it, and a different typestyle (ant I got a price of $80 for it, but you should check yourself).
My plate matches the stock typestyle and size, as you can see in the picture above. Thanks to a
powsercoated surface that Dan (manufacturer and design consultant extraordinaire) put on there, and a couple of
anal-retentive expert machinist cuts by MIKE,
it even looks like it belongs there from the factory! The plate
is aluminum and now has 3M VHT (stickybacking). It is thin enough that
if you put it on the stock plate it will not stick up and look bad, but if you
try to peel it off it certainly will bend - the stickeybacking is pretty tough.
"...the material is .016-in aluminum plate, with a .0015-in thick
coating of textured polyethylene black powdercoat. The material is then laser etched
..... The result is a white aluminum oxide finish on a black textured background."
I can possibly put a small LOGO on the bottom right of the
plate for you if you want, but you'll have to wait for the next batch.
