This page is for dyno runs. After collecting the data from my first set of runs, I saw that the power curve was a bit shifted compared to my 700-R4 automatic shift points. I roughed out the dyno data and combined it with data from some drag runs and made a little software utility to seek out optimal shift points. If you want to, download THIS text file and enter your information in it (replace my info with yours). E-mail it to me ( dzug@delanet.com ) and I will use it to test out my program some more, and send you a copy when it is finished. I will also send you, right away, an assessment of your shift points. Remember, this is an experiment.. don't go modifying you governors! (although I DID and the car feels better)
I don't think I'll get a zillion files mailed to me but if I do, its first come...
Thanks for helpin!

Check it out.. (am I 80's or what).. Here is a WAV file of a dyno run. I had a nasty exhaust leak as a donut decided to let go that day. download THIS WAV FILE by right clicking on the blue word and selecting "save as". try clicking on it and say "open".. it might work for you but you wont be able to save it unless you are fast. Its 400K. You can hear the part where the car shifts into second, then third.. then I floor it as I hit the green button to start the dyno recording. Scariest part is wondering what might happen with the wheels going 135 mph if one of those straps broke :-/
If it doesn't work please tell me, I keep fogetting that nutscrape doesn't correct the slash when I put it backwards. IE is bad cause it corrects it, thus I always forget to slant it the right way ;-(

Dyno Runs page.

okay, Here are some runs after the ported edelbrock base was installed (yes, I ported it... to a felpro 1205). Not too terribly impressive compared to a ported stock unit, in this application.

... and here are some more N2O runs with the new base.
