  • On Friday, June 29th from 10:30am to 12:00pm, Dixie Hisley from the Army Research Laboratory discussed "Parallel Computing and its Role in Science."
  • On Friday, July 6th from 11am to 12:30pm, the TAs for the program, Meghan Boyle, Sharon Holt and Nina Bawa conducted a panel discussion on College Life.
  • On Friday, July 13th from 10:30am to 11:30am Jane Whitman, a Project Manager at Vanguard, came to Gore 222 to discuss the road to a Computer Science career and the process of a project at Vanguard.
  • Friday, July 20th from 9am until 10:30, John Scoggin, an Adjunct Professor at UD and Systems Engineering Consultant at Conectiv came to discuss the history of computers.
  • On Thursday, July 26th from 10:30am to 11:30am, Paul Amer, Professor of CIS at UD came to discuss "A History Lesson in Computing and the Internet".
  • Thursday, August 2nd, Lisa Michaud, a Senior PhD Student, discussed "Geeky Girls in Computing" and her work for the ICICLE project at UD.
  • Monday, August 6th from 9am to 10am, Scott Wrage of JP Morgan discussed web architecture and web development at JP Morgan.
  • Thursday, August 9th from 10:30am to 11:30am, Errol Lloyd, a Professor of CIS at UD came to discuss algorithms.
  • Monday, August 13th at 10:30am, Charlie Boncelet discussed information hiding, security of the internet, and steganography.
  • On Thursday, August 16th Chandra Kambhamettu, Assistant Professor of CIS at UD came to discuss "Graphics and Image Processing and its Role in Society."
