Clause Boundary Annotation

We're currently annotating simplification output on the GENIA corpus. The aim is to:

• Generate a gold-standard corpus for conjunction, appositive, relative clause, and reduced relative clause boundaries
• Evaluate the performance of our existing simplifier on this corpus
• Evaluate the performance of existing parsers on these particular clauses individually
• Learn a model for clause boundary detection that can be used in future work
