CISters organize review sessions for three introductory-level Computer Science courses:
- CISC 106 - General Computer Science for Engineers
- CISC 108 - Introduction to Computer Science I
- CISC 181 - Introduction to Computer Science II
- CISC 220 - Data Structures
Members of CISters, many of whom are or were the Teaching Assistants of the courses, and other volunteers lead the review sessions, both as a service to undergraduates and as a recruiting effort to attract more women to take up leadership roles in Computer Science.
