Guidelines for Poster Preparation Project 1 and 2
VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE PRACTICE YOUR ORAL PRESENTATION. YOU ONLY HAVE 10 MINUTES TO COMPLETE YOUR PRESENTATION. GOING OVERTIME IS NOT ALLOWED.
Information that you MUST provide on your presentation:
· Title Page
o Names of team members, the design parameters and contact information
· Description of project, cover both network adapter and BERT
o Provide description of operation (block diagrams or dataflow graphs) I expect sufficient detail so that if I gave the description to another group of people, they could build a project with similar behavior.
o It is important that you show the timing results of your designs (maximum speed of operation, number of flip-flops, latches (if any), etc). You can find this information under "Design Summary" on ISE Xilinx tool.
· Achievements and difficulties
o Describe what worked and what didn’t.
o Describe any work you have done beyond getting each part of the project to “work”. Examples would be additional testing or features used in your designs; any thing that went beyond the requirements of the project.
· Hardware
o Provide a drawing/diagram of your hardware setup.
o Provide a table showing the I/O signals used for your designs.
Any other information that you think is relevant or will demonstrate the performance and functionality of your design should be added to your presentation (this mat include schematics, simulation results, etc)
