Fuel cost increases
FirstEnergy Corp. proposed modest rate increases over the next three years for its three Ohio companies in a filing with state regulators Thursday. FirstEnergy's average residential prices have been above the national average for the last decade, but the difference is expected to narrow because of rising fuel prices and transmission costs.
