Update: I defended my dissertation on July 23, 2012. I have moved to West Chester University and have joined the Computer Science department as a assistant professor! Please find me here.

I was am a sixth year Ph.D. candidate in the Computer and Information Sciences department at the University of Delaware.

My research involves the understanding of high-level content in information graphics. I completed my dissertation proposal in February 2010.

I also am a graduate fellow with the Compute Teams 4 Youth partnership: where student-teams develop educational learning games for the XO laptop and deploy them into classrooms. (CISC 374)

I received my Masters Degree in May 2008, and passed the UDel CIS Prelimary Exam in January 2008. I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Saint Joseph's University in May 2006.
