University of Delaware Programming Team
Welcome to the University of Delaware Programming Team's
home page. I apologize for the lack of eye candy here. My
web-smithing skills are nothing short of abysmal. Maybe someday
we'll get a better looking page. In the meantime though...
Curious why you would to join the team? Find out
more on the about the programming team page
Practices
This semester we'll holding practices in McKinley 051
at 7:00pm on Thursday evenings.
If you're interested in joining the team,
just show up at the practices. At practice, I'll hand out
some problems and let the members work out solutions to
them. Any solution the teams come up with gets judged by me.
If a problem gives people trouble, I'll go over the
solution. All the prior problems and sample solutions are
available on the programming problems page
Programming Contests
Here's some contests for this fall:
- At some point in later October I'll do an internet contest.
- October 28th: ACM Mid-Atlantic Regional contest. This is the big one.
100+ Teams from around the area will be competing.
- A list of previous contests I've hosted
Problems
The programming problems page has
copies and solutions of recent problems I've handed out.
It also contains info on how to submit problems to me, etc.
Pictures
The pictures page contains links to
some pictures of the people on the team.
Joining
As mentioned above, if you're interested and want to see what
all is going on, just show up at a practice. There's no committment
required.
If you think it's not for you, you can leave at any time. But, you'll
never know if you don't try.
If you want some more information, just
drop me a line. Or, you can stop by lab in Smith 102 (the HiPerSpace
lab). I'm there almost all day every day.
